Is the Water You Drink Acidic or Alkaline?

Did you know that majority of the bottled waters are acidic. Yes, acidic. That nice clear water in the pretty bottle can be misleading. We think we are drinking something that is the ultimate in health for our bodies or we wouldn’t be spending good money on it. We complain about gas prices, and, yet, bottled water is much more expensive. And, considering we should be drinking about half our body weight in water, if we were to purchase the quantity that our whole family would really need on a daily basis, it would be even more expensive.

Now, getting back to the acidity of most drinks. A low result on the pH scale means that it is acidic and unhealthy. A high result-8.5 to 9.5 on the pH scale, means that it is heathier for you to drink.

Sadly most sodas and energy drinks that people consume on a daily basis are very low on the pH scale. And, think about everyone that practically lives on Big Gulps. Surprisingly, however, in testing the pH of different bottled waters, I found out that most bottled, reverse osmosis water was nearly as acidic as the sodas and high fructose energy drinks. The sports drinks and children’s flavored waters were very close to the same findings-below neutral, and some were way below neutral. Is it any wonder why 96% of the population is overly acidic and prone to health challenges?

What we really need is to drink something that is more alkaline-not acidic-if we are to maintain are our health and well-being. What can we drink that is alkaline?
